18th century Continental silver footed tankard with repoussé decoration. The lid holding an Austrian coin dated 1643. A later inscription dated 1847, when it was presented as a wedding gift to a member of the Danish royal family. Assayer's stamp of Christopher Fabritius, active from 1749 until 1787. By direct descent, complete provenance.
