A magnificent period shaped and beveled glass mirror mounted in a contemporary asymmetrical wooden frame designed to follow the line of the bevel. Intricate and skillful micro-mosaic work is employed to depict a pond scene with blooming arum lilies and purple flora with a blue heron in flight against a gilded ground rising from a (hard-stone) watery base sporting lily pads, frogs and swans.
