Early 19th C. Old Paris Porcelain Teacup & Saucer

Rare handpainted Old Paris pedestal teacup & saucer, First Empire, circa 1805-1820, by the Darte Freres Manufactory. Dark green ground decorated with sea shells and an emerging snake with duck head, both teacup and saucer with raised gold enamelled coral design and gilded banding which continues on the inside of the teacup.  Minor wear to gold.

Excellent condition.

Saucer Measures: 5 1/4"diam
