library or entry table, Italian, Roman, c. 1880.
The rectangular architectural top incorporating at center five square marble and pietra dura panels of geometric design with three dimensional frames surrounded by bands of travertine and stepped carrara marble borders with verde acceglio rims and frieze, modern custom made ¾” beveled glass top, the whole raised on four cast bronze legs with lion-head capitals and paw feet.
